It Takes a Man and a Woman (movie commentary)

I just watched a local movie called "It Takes a Man and a Woman", when I heard this movie all that would come up are sex and procrastination and babies and other stuffs couple would dare to do. But we are not here to talk about those unnecessary shit. This movie is all about a simple love story. One thing I like about Philippines movies are the romance and comedy that blends in and make the perfect moment which I find it cute and the "kilig" stuff, also something that would relate to filipino people nowadays. That's pinoy, and it's more fun in the Philippines. Hahaha!
Well, all I couls say is that it is a must watch, must see movie. Starring Sarah Geronimo as Laida and John Lloyd Cruz as Miggy/ Miguel. They are such a cute couple, and they make the perfect romantic comedy couple in modern phillipine love story. They make such outstanding loveteam in terms of romance and comedy being combined with. To start with, Laida went to abroad (NYC) as a staff in a magazine company and Miggy stayed in the Philippines, he is a business man who owns a certain magazine company in Pinas. Uncertain problem came to their relationship, like Miggys father died and Laidas mother caught her father with another (hey! that sort of rhyme there. Okay. Whatever). Miggy needed company and called Laida for to come back to the Phil. Unfortunately, when Laida came back.. she saw Miggy kissing with another girl (Isabelle Daza) and their relationship turned into a break-up which Laida went fleeing back to new york leaving Miggy Mr. Saddy-Pants. Boo-Hoo! A typical pinoy love quarrel. That's all your fault Miggy! Why can't you wait for her to arrive. It was suppose to be a surprise, wasn't it? Okay. Nevermind. Miggy had to propose at a very wrong time.. And you must watch this movie so that you would know what happened next.

*John Lloyd as Miggy. Here I go, his role really suites him. He was such a Mr. Goody-TwoShoes with all the formalitities and then he turned into a bad boy uptight bastard. Oh, Men.. whenever they make mistakes they change for the worst! (Well, not all). Ain't he just a dreamboy? I swore I'd kidnap a guy like him and put him inside a big sack and into the closet :) A surprisingly good guy turned into a slacker after a true love break-up.
John Lloyd. John Lloyd John Lloyd.

But the name "Miguel" suites you way cooler.

Sarah Geronimo as Laida. She's such a pretty little actress and her role suites her fine and nice. Her acting, her KPOP style, her accent, her cute face and..
What's up with the fucking wig?

Did I mention I have a crush on Isabelle Daza. Man, I wanna be a man right now.. Just look at her:

Well, that is all for my movie commentary. Lesson learned? Forgive and forget and get married! Hahaha! except the last two lines.Tada! Bye fans. Enjoy watching :)
