After watching another mafia movie, I would do another movie commentary related with the film. How does a mafia boss protects it's family versus a CIA agent who barely spends time with his family. Okay, okay, I know it's really stupid to make the two parties being judged but I'd like to share somethings to you.
So before I start ranting about useless thoughts that I'd share. I would like to tell you that watching "The Family" made me think that having a mafia relative is cool. Yeah, I would like that very much. Getting to be so cool and dangerous. Being popular and known. The movie was all about a mafia boss and his family relocated to another place and being protected by the witness protection program or the FBI after snitching on the mob. To hide their former identity they must use other names so that they wouldn't be killed by other mafias. Unfortunately, they showed their old habits and blown their cover by handling the "family" way. Enabling their mafia cronies to track them down somewhere in France.
However, a cool undercover agent father and his weird family has their own "family" way. Being a father means you are responsible for the acts of your family --- Being the leader of the pack, the voice of the family and sometimes acting stupid is what you get. A housewife, daughter, and a son makes it an average and yet simple family but adding a pet who is a fish that can talk and an alien who is much less important to bare with. It makes it all weird even.
Fred Blake vs. Stan Smith.
Old but such an award winning actor Robert De Niro, he plays the role as the mafia boss or the father of the family. He never liked being disrespected by other citizen nor strangers that passes by his moves. He'd kill you for that. Aside from brutally beating a plumber and the manager of a water company. He doesn't like being interrupted when he's being serious about something.
Oh, if only you were my dad I'd tell all the bullies at school to not mess with me coz having you around makes it all safe and protected. You are one smart ass Mr. Blake. He looks like Noah from the bible. But his parenting as a father suits him very much, with all that hair in his face, he rather looked like a grandpa than a father. The personality he fits in the film is very rare and it suits him. The way a father does to protect his family and his dignity as a mafia boss. He is fucking cool because of the way he acts. Aside from being a fake writer, he has a taste for being an author. The things that make him a good guy.
A handsome father who is fresh and slightly a bastard to his own will. He's an agent and he is the also respected as the president of the CIA. Talk about a total protection program. No matter what you'll do he has his own stupid ways of parenting. Yeah, but atleast he has time for his wife, Francine. He can really be a hero because he protects his family by having his own gun. Tacky!
What about men and guns? Yeah, they may look cool if you're wearing a tux and a police badge that's why Francine always makes him special in her own pretty bitchy ways. She's one hot american mom who does everything she can for her family.
A family, wouldn't be complete without children, right? Well, they say children are the future of every parents. Every mother and father would be very proud to bear a child. And the Smiths family couldn't be happier to have two adorable child. Hayley and Steve Smith. Hayley, she's a simple kid and a black sheep to the family. Fights hard for cancer because she's bald and she wears a black wig to be able to go out to socialize.. But only to his boyfriend. She's plain and smart and does everything that's right and proves that she is (well, sometimes).
Without nerds, it's not right. Steve Smith is one smarty-pants. Like most nerds, Steve enjoys hanging with his big bang friends who loves watching porn on the internet and plays monopoly games with popcorn ad juice box as energizers. See? What's wrong with that? He is never like his father who owns a gun and works as a sercet agent. He also enjoys gardening and baking (Gay? No. Nerds do that.). Although, he knows fishing and plays the basketball and can't even shoot one or make a free-throw. The fact that he still keeps a stuffed monkey in his room. Loser.
The italian children however has a different interest. They inherited from their father or mother. They are strong and fierce. Dianna Aragon plays as Belle the eldest and only daughter of Maggie and Giovanni. Never mess with this gal because she can give a punch and hits you with a tennis racket. I love the part when she beated that freckled face French guy who happens to be a loser and his friends. I am also the eldest and looks like we have some things in common. Hehehe! She's really pretty and it suits her.
She's way hotter than her role in Glee. Though they have the same bitchy feminism.
Nerds and smartypants. Yeah, some nerds can be a bully, especially when you have a brother as one. John D'Leo plays as Warren Blake who is the only son of Maggie and Giovanni. He is such a cutie pie and a smart ass kid. The part where he beated those bullies who beated him first inside the mens room (Payback time). How cool is that? He never deals of anything and he has a language for words. He'd plan everything up and gets it all done. I tell ya' do not mess with any children of Mafias, they'll finish you up.
A family wouldn't be also complete without a pet. Lucky for the Smiths, they have a goldfish (Claus) and an alien (Roger). Weird, but intriguing. Claus is a goldfish who happens to be a secret agent and has a major crush on Francinne, while Roger came from a planet called Zuma (Kidding).
Like any other normal family who have pets at home, the Blakes has their own K-nine. Now, it's very common with the quote that says a man's bestfriend is a dog. Well, Giovanni has his own rightside. Thankfully the dog was there to help them. When those hitmen had hunted them down and tracked their address in France, the dog never left their side and instead killed one of their enemy. Impressive. I wish I had a dog, but I'm too scared to pet an animal.
Ain't he cute? Not! He looks like a wolf/ dog/ bat/ lion.
Oh well. That is all for my useless rants for this blog post. I conclude that a family is the most important source of energy, aside from food. They are always there emotionally, physically, spiritually and financially supportive of what you decide and what you'd do. Love your family 'cause they are always there for you when you need or not need them. I love my family, so much. Chao! :)
